The villa is located in the rural countryside of Canggu, on Bali’s southwest coast to the north west of Kuta, in the traditional Balinese village of Tumbak Bayuh. Hugely popular among expats and surfers, Canggu is rapidly developing with new restaurants and cafes opening up every month. However, you can still find a pocket of real Bali in the area, with scenic views of “greenbelt” (government protected rice fields) and coconut groves. Walking or biking around Villa Nalika will give you a feel for the traditional Balinese village way of life.
The villa is just off the main road through Canggu leading to Tanah Lot, only a 7-minute drive to Pererenan beach with world famous surf breaks, a 10-minute drive to the ever popular Echo Beach and Old Mans’/Batu Bolong Beach that host great restaurants, bars, and cafes. Trendy Seminyak (famous for boutique shops and night clubs) is about 20-25 minutes away (10km). Denpasar airport is approximately 40-60 minutes away (20km) depending on the traffic. Ubud is about 50 minutes away (25km).
